Service  Captain Dennys served with the 11th Native Infantry against the insurgents in Bundlecund, 42. Served throughout the Sutlej Campaign, 45, 46. Present at the action of Ferozeshuhur. Medal. Present at the surrender of Kot Kangra, 46. Present during part of the operations before Delhi, also at the assault and total capture of that City, 57. Accompanied the Column under Brigadier Showers, 27th September, into the district, and returned to Delhi, 1st October. Medal and Clasp. (Has passed in Surveying and Civil Engineering.)
