The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1849: Writer and Student at the College. 1852: Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Bellary. 1855: Acting Third Assistant to the Accountant-General, Madras.1856: Second Assistant, afterwards Acting First Assistant to the Accountant-General. 1857: Canarese Translator to Government. 1858: Civil Auditor for the Punjab Government. 1859: Officiating Sub-Judge, Madura; Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, afterwards Acting Subordinate Judge, Bellary; Proceeded to Europe on furlough for 3 years. 1861: Private Secretary to the Governor of Fort. St. George. 1864: Judge of Small Cause Court, Combaconum, continuing to Act as Private Secretary to the Governor; On medical leave to Europe for 3 years. 1868: Acting Civil and Sessions Judge, Chittoor; Acting Commissioner, afterwards Commissioner, Nilgiri Hills. 1872: Died, 6th June, in India.
