The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1852: Writer and Student at the College. 1854: Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Tanjore. 1856: Acting Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Trichinopoly; Acting Special Assistant, afterwards Special Assistant at Tanjore. 1859: Acting Sub-Judge, Combaconum; Acting Prinicipal Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, and Agent to the Governor of Fort St. George, in Vizagapatam; Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Godavari. 1860: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate Godavari. 1861: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1863: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Madura. 1864: On special leave to Europe for 5 months. 1866: Acting Collector and Magistrate,Trichinopoly; Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Tanjore. 1867: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Trichinopoly. 1868: Acting Collector and Magistrate, North Arcot; also Cuddaph. 1869: Collector and Magistrate, Nellore. 1876: On furlough to Europe. 1877: Retired from service, 15th January. (Annuitant on the Fund.)
