Entry  Born Dec. 17, 1848 : took his B.A. degree in 1870, and, later, M.A. at the Calcutta University : was Premchand Roychand Scholar in 1871 : B.L., 1873 : practised in the Calcutta High Court from 1874 : officiating High Court Judge, 1903 : confirmed, 1904 : has written a law book on the Land Laws of Bengal.
