	Entry	A servant of the traveller Moorcroft (q.v.) : despatched on a preparatory tour to the countries which Moorcroft pro posed to visit : Izzet Ullah travelled from Delhi to Kashmir, Tibet, Yarkand, Kashgar, Khokand, Samarkand, Bokhara, Balkh, Khulm, Kabul and Hindustan : he kept a journal of his stages and collected much information, which was translated and published as Travels beyond the Himalaya in the Calcutta Oriental Quarterly Magazine, 1825, and republished in the I.R.A.S., 1843.
