Married 30th December 1947, Anne Askew, MA (Edinburgh), born 29th February 1924, daughter of Rev T C Gibson, late of Swatow and Singapore, now Haltwhistle English Presbyterian Church, and has issue, John Campbell, born 2nd October 1948 in Gujerat; Thomas Campbell, born 15th October 1950 in Gujerat; Mary Phyllis, born 15th August 1954 in Shillong, Assam.
