Body of text  WILLIAM GEORGE MURISON, born 27th March 1925 at Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire, son of William Murison and Christina Hay; educated at Mintlaw Public School, Peterhead Academy; service in Royal Navy in Colombo 1943-6; University of Edinburgh and New College 1948-51; student assistant Edinburgh Newington and St Leonard's 1947-51, Ballater Glencairn summer 1950; licensed by Presbytery of Edinburgh 26th April 1951; ordained by same Presbytery as missionary to Santalia 25th July 1951. Married 27th May 1950, Eleanor Margaret, born 12th January 1925, daughter of J B Gourlay, Edinburgh, and has issue, William Wallace, born 28th September 1953.
