These photographs were taken by members and friends of FIBIS who went on a Family History Tour of East India in 2015. Thousands of photos were taken, and were very kindly donated for our website.

Inscription  This tablet is erected by the officers of the volunteer cavalry with Sir James Outrams force to the memory of their comrade James Erskine who was mortally wounded on the 25th September 1857 when Lucknow was first relieved and who died on the 17th November following much regretted at the aged of twenty-one years.
