He dyed June the 5th 1720. | | Comment by Rev. Charles Herbert Malden | Samuel Brown was a surgeono. He accidentally poisoned Mr James Wheeler, a member of council, and then wrote to Mr Higginson Governor asking that he might be punished. Browns (sic) collection of dried plants are now in the British Museum. Charles Long was the child of Charles Long Chaplain of Fort St George from 1713 to 1721. |
