The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1853: Writer and Student at the College. 1855:Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Madura. 1856: Acting Head Assistant at Madura. 1858: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Kurnool; On medcial leave to Europe for 24 months. 1860: Officiating Sub-Judge, Chicacole; Senior Assistant Collector and Magistrate, and Agent to the Governor of For St. George, in Vizagapatam. 1861: Principal Assistant at Vizagapatam. 1862: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Ganjam. 1864: Acting Judge of Small Cause Court, Chittoor. 1866: On furlough to Europe for 23 months and 11 days. 1867: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Trichinopoly. 1868: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Tinnevelly. 1869: Collector and Magistrate, Nellore. 1870: Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1873: On furlough to Europe for 15 months. 1874: Resumed Duties at Salem. 1878: Acting Second Member of the Revenue Board. 1879: Acting First Member of the Board of Revenue, and Commissioner for Examinations of Unconvenanted Civil Servants; Acting Third Member of the Revenue Board. 1880: Acting Second Member, afterwards Third Member, and again Second Member, of the Revenue Board; In Charge of the Inam Department. 1881: Acting Second Member, appointed Third Member, and Acting First Member of the Revenue Board; On furlough to Europe for 9 months and 14 days. 1882: Retired from service, 15th July, in England. (Annuitant of the Fund.)
