Summary of Service  1855: Writer and Student at the College. 1856: Assisant to Collector and Magistrate, North Arcot; afterwards Acting Head Assistant at Tinnevelly.1857: Acting Second Assistant to the Accountant-General, Madras. 1858: Officiating Second Assistant to the Accountant-General; On medical leave to Europe for 3 years and 9 months. 1862: On medical leave to Europe, forfeiting appointment. 1865: Retired from service, 16th February. (Invalid Annuitant.).
