I. Irrigation Company's Bihar and Orissa Irrigation works, 1861 : Chief Engineer to Government of Bengal for Irrigation, 1866 : Inspr-General of Irrigation with the Government of India, 1871-4 : retired, 1874 : C.S.I., 1875 : General, 1885.
