Entry  The adopted son of Sri Narayan Singh, who was descended from Ganga Gobind Singh, Diwan to the E.I. Co. in the time of Warren Hastings. He was a Vice- President of the British Indian Association : Raja Bahadur, and C.S.I, in recognition of his liberality and public spirit. He died in 1868.
