Blomefield, 1833-8 : curate of Old Dalby, 1839-41 : ordained, 1839 : went out, as a Missionary of the Church Missionary Society, in 1841, to the Telugu Mission at Masulipatam, and worked there continuously for 24 years, preaching and teaching : took up Ellore, 1854, and Bezwada, 1858, as Missionary stations : refused a Chaplaincy : succumbed to exposure to the cyclone of Nov. 1, 1864, and illness : died Oct. 17, 1865. |
