Charles Herbert Malden, Canon of St George's Cathedral, Madras and Garrison Chaplain, 1893-4 and 1901-6. The transcription is of The Old Tombstones \| Outside St Mary's Church. The other memorials recorded in the book are of those inside the church. The book contains a useful checklist (as at 1905) of the church's registers from 1680. The book is in the library of the East India Club in St James's Square, London SW1Y 4LH.
