Body of text  ROBERT LAURIE KILGOUR, born 4th October 1893 at Darjeeling, India, son of Robert K, DD and Agnes Elizabeth Horn; educated Morrison's Academy, Crieff; St Paul's School, London; and University of Glasgow, MA (1921); served in Great War in France and Mesopotamia, 1914-1919 (wounded, despatches); licensed by Presbytery of Glasgow 1924; assistant, Hillhead, Glasgow and Dunblane Cathedral 1924; ordained 3rd June 1926; transmitted to Elie Old, 22nd July 1931. Married 18th January 1939 Elsie Johnston, daughter of W J Christian, Ealing, demitted 15th July 1943 and became Missionary at Lovedale. Publication - The Scottish Universities' Mission.
