Married (1) 28th February 1890, Jane (died 3rd May 1897), daughter of John Dykes, and has issue - Jane Patrick, born 6th February 1896: (2) 7th December 1899, Jane, daughter of John Hogg, and has issue - George, CE, born 2nd November 1900; John Hogg, mining engineer, born 20th June 1902; Christina Stirling, born 30th July 1903; David Stark Reid, born 10th January 1906; Mary Stark, born 23rd November 1911.
