Married 26th February 1903, Rose Elsie, daughter of James Edwards, missionary Professor, General Assembly's Institution, Calcutta, and has issue - Henry Cecil, born 3rd May 1904: James Edwards, born 4th September 1907; Archibald Sutherland, born 17th July 1914.
