Body of text  CAMERON, JOHN, born 18th September 1865, son of John C, DD, minister of Dunoon; educated at University of Glasgow; MA (1887), BD (1888); licensed by Presbytery of Dunoon May 1888; assistant at St George's, Edinburgh, 1888-92; appointed to Indian chaplaincy (Bengal) and ordained (by Presbytery of Edinburgh) 6th October 1892; served with Tochi Field Force July 1897 (medal and despatches); Presidency senior chaplain at Bombay from 1905; died in Bombay 15th May 1913.
