Body of text  JOHN FAULDS, born Ardrossan, 26th February 1870, son of James Faulds and Jane Gillies, educated at Moray House, Daniel Stewart's College, and University of Edinburgh, licensed by Presbytery of Edinburgh 29th November 1899, assistant at North Esk, Ayr, and Hamilton, ordained to Kandy, Ceylon, 12th September 1909, resigned in 1920, admitted 25th August 1921. Married 30th September 1909, Jeanie Naismith, daughter of Thomas Minto and Jeanie Naismith Shearer.
