Register Entry  Death of a Missionary Rev Geo Hole Wesleyan Missionary died at the residence of H Ebell Esq at Paumban on the 27th Feb, Mr Hole has for more than year been out of health and was on his way from Trincomalie to Colombo with his family hoping to experience benefit by the change. On arriving at Paumban feeling himself to be near his end he wished to be carried ashore & died soon after. Mr Hole if we rightly remember came from the continent to Ceylon in 1839 & has since labored at the different stations of the Wesleyan Missionary Society in the Northerm Province. He removed from Jaffna to Trincomalie about 2 years ago
