Register Entry  At Aurungabad on the 13th January in the 80th year of his age Major Charles Freeman of His Highness the Nizams Army after a period of fifty years honorable service. For many years past he had been a father and protector to the poor and helpless supplying them with food clothing and medical aid. His age, experience, services as well as the benevolence and affability of his disposition attracted the respect and affection of all who were acquainted with him and he died deeply and universally regretted
