The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1822: Writer. 1824: Employed under the Commissioner in the Deccan. 1833: At home. 1837: Returned to India; Private Secretary to the Governor; Canarese Translator to Government; Member of the College Board; Acting Persian Translator to Government; and Third Member of the Board of Revenue. 1844: Third Member of the Board of Revenue; Member of the College Board and Mint Committee; and Canarese Translator to Government. 1848: Second Member of the Board of Revenue. Member of the College Board, and Canarese Translator to Government. 1851: First Member of the Board of Revenue. 1855: Member of Council and President of the Revenue and Marine Boards. 1856: Proceeded on furlough. 1857: Returned to India; Member of the Council, and President of the Revenue and Marine Boards. 1859: Resigned the service, 17th December, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1860) Knight Commander of the Star of India, 15th May 1866.
