The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1821: Writer. 1824: Employed at Dharwar under the Bombay Government. 1829: At home on absentee allowances. 1832: Returned to India; Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Bellary. 1833: Acting Assistant Judge of Chingleput. 1834: Assistant Judge of Guntoor: Judge and Criminal Judge of Combaconum. 1835: Judge and Criminal Judge of Canara. 1838: Acting Judge of the Provincial Court, Western Division. 1839: Judge and Criminal Judge of Canara. 1841: Third Judge, afterwards Second Judge, of the Provincial Court of Appeal and Circuit, West Division. 1844: Civil and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore. 1847: Proceeded on furlough. 1849: Returned to India. 1850: Civil and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore; Proceeded on furlough. 1851: Resigned the service, 15th February, in India. Died, 20th July, 1880, in England.
