Summary of Service  1816: Writer. 1819: Second Assistant, afterwards Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate of Masulipatam. 1822: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate of Tinnevelly. 1823: Acting Deputy Persian Translator to Government. 1826: Assistant to the Chief Secretary to Government. 1828: Senior Deputy Register of the Sudder Court. 1830: Judge and Criminal Judge of Madura. 1830: Judge and Criminal Judge of Salem. 1833: Out of employ. 1836: Acting Judge and Criminal Judge of Cuddapah; Acting Judge and Criminal Judge of Salem. 1837: Judge and Criminal Judge of Salem. 1840: Out of employ. (Retired on the Annuity Fund, 1843). 1844: Died on his passage to England.
