Company in the troubles with Surajah-Ul-Dowlah and Cossim Ally Cawn. Departed this life the 17th November, 1777 much esteemed and lamented by all who knew him; aged 46 years. His widow, as a mark of her affection and gratitude, erected this Monument to his Memory. |
