Detail  At his apartments in the East-India-house, of an apoplectic fit, as he was getting up in the morning, Thomas Morton, esq. secretary to the E. India Company to which office he succeeded on the resignation of the late Peter Michell, esq. in 1783 or 4, and filled with unremitting attention and integrity. His fortune, which was considerable, devolves to a brother and sister, which last was housekeeper at the East India-house.
