Detail  At the house of his brother-in-law (Sir Vicary Gibbs, Attorney-general), at Hayes, Middlesex, Lieut.-gen. Alexander Mackenzie Fraser, M.P. for the county of Ross, Colonel of the 78th Foot, or Ross-shire Highlanders. He was an experienced officer; had served in India; and accompanied Sir Jn. Moore third in command to Sweden and Spain; and fell a sacrifice to the fever caught at Flushing.
