Connaught Rangers, only surviving son of Mrs Day of 90 Glocester-terrace, and the late D J Day of Rochester in the 22nd year of his age. " He was previously wounded in the arm, but refused to retire, and continued gallantly leading on his men, when he fell shot through the head."
