Inscription  Canon of St Georges Cathedral Madras, Secretary of the SPG Madras and for 20 years incumbent of the Church of St Thomas, Mylapore. After 40 years of service in the Mission field in Madagascar and South India he retired to England in 1920 where he died in 1923. Tablet erected by the congregation of this Church in a token of their appreciation of his Ministry
