Service  Major Weston was in Political Charge and vested with special powers at the capture of the Durriabad Forts. Brevet Major, Medal, and 2 Clasps. Oude, in March and April 50. Formed one of the old Garrison Lucknow Residency, from 30th June to 22nd November 57. One years extra service. Present throughout the whole of the subsequent operations before Lucknow with the Force under Sir J. Outram, and at the siege and capture of Lucknow, in March 58. (Since retired.)
