Commanded a Detachment during the attack of the rebels on the station of Googaira. Accompanied the Forces under Colonel Paton and Colonel Chamberlain, from September 57 to November 57, as Deputy-Commissioner during the Googaira Insurrection. Was present during the attack on Googaira, action near Hurappa, and final attack on Julla. Medal. (Received a degree of Honor for attainments in the Persian Language.) |
