Was severely wounded at the assault of Delhi, and was present during the whole of the siege. Was present with his Regiment during the operations before Delhi, siege and capture of the City, on the 14th September 57. (Severely wounded.) (Passed in Surveying, Civil Engineering, and Field Engineering, and obtained a first class certificate in Musketry.) |
