Medal, Served with a Field Detachment, engaged in the pursuit and capture of the Rebel Rajah of Toolsipore, in Oude, May 56. Was Staff Officer to Colonel Sherer, at Julpigoree, when the Cavalry mutinied at that station, and during the operations against the Chittagong and Dacca rebels, 57. Thanked by His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief for services during the Mutinies, 25th September 57 and 25th May 58. Commanded a Moveable Column in Bundlecund, and was engaged in repeated expeditions after the rebel leader Dowlut Singh and Burgore Singh, from October 59 to March 60. Medal. (Passed in Surveying and Civil Engineering.) |
