Service  Captain Curtis served with the Army of the Punjab, 48, 49. Present at the siege and surrender of Mooltan, from November 48 to January 49. Present at the surrender of Fort Chuniout, 3rd February 59, and at the battle of Goojerat, 21st February 49. Medal and Clasps. Present in Command of 6th Irregular Cavalry at Mooltan, 31st August 58, when the men of the 4th Troop, 3rd Brigade Native Horse Artillery, and of the 62nd and 69th Native Infantry mutinied. Assisted at the extermination of those Regiments between the 31st August and 16th September 58. Medal.
