Service  Assistant-Surgeon Corbyn served with the Umritsur Moveable Column. Accompained the Cashmere Force under Colonel R. Lawrence to Delhi, and was present at the siege and capture of that place. Medal and 2 Clasps. Served with the Troops at Jhujjur and Rohtuck; had Medical Charge of the 3rd Sikh Cavalry at Lucknow; present at the final capture of that city. The 3rd Sikh Cavalry formed part of the Forces under Sir Edward Lugard, with whom the Regiment was at the relief of Azimghur, and afterwards accompanied Brigadier Douglas, in the rapid and celebrated pursuit after the rebel Koer Singh: was present in every action fought by his Regiment. Served with the Azimghur Field Force, from 29th March to 4th June 58, when the rebels were finally expelled the Jugdespore Jungles; also present with the 3rd Sikh Cavalry all through the quelling of the disturbances of the Shahabad and Behar Districts.
