Service  Colonel Coke was present at the actions of Chillianwallah (horse shot under him} and Goojerat; pursuit of the Sikhs and Afghans under General Gilbert. Medal and Clasp. With the Force under Lieutenant-Colonel Bradshaw, in the Eusuffzaie country, in 49, 50; also in the affairs in the Eusuffzaie country and Ranazaie Valley, in 52. Commanded 1st Punjab Infantry at the attack on the Afreedies, in the pass leading to Kohat, under Brigadier Campbell. Wounded in a skirmish near the Kohat Pass, November 53. Dersummund, May 55 ; Summana Mountain, September 55; and Bozdar Hills, March 57. Wounded, Commanded Moveable Column at Delhi, from 4th July to 12th August. Was wounded at the capture of the guns at Ludlow Castle. Commanded a Brigade in Rohilkund, 58, Medal and Clasp.
