Service  Lieutenant Chester served in 57, at the siege of Delhi. Present from the 28th June to the final capture, in 58, at the capture of Lucknow, by Lord Clyde; present throughout the siege, including the affair at Moosa Bagh, and with General Sir H. Grants Column in the vicinity of Lucknow. Present at the affair of Baree, on the 13th April. Wounded slightly at Delhi, 14th July 57, Medal and 2 Clasps.
