Was in Medical Charge of the Regiment when it formed part of the Column under Command of Brigadier the Honorable P. E. Herbert, in pursuit of the Rebel Prince Feroze Shah, and present at the fight on the banks of the Jumna, on the 10th December 58. Held Medical Charge of the expedition under Captain H. Raban, against the Roorkee Hill Tribes, on the South-Eastern Frontier, from 17th December 60 to 6th February 61, and present at the storming of the village of the Roorkee Chief, Rutton Pooeyra, 1st February 61. |
