Inscription  Sacred to the memory of Emily, the beloved wife of Robert Charles Roosmalecocq of Tuticurin in Southern India and eldest daughter of the late Samuel Girdlestone, Esqr., Q.C., Bencher of the Middle Temple. She departed this life on the 3rd July, 1855, at Colombo, aged 30, and is interred in the family vault in Wolfendal Church.
