Also of Catharine Bagshaw, aged 16 years. The wife and eldest daughter of John Bagshaw, Esq., of Calcutta, who in one sad moment drowned by the upsetting of a pinnace near the Armenian Ghaut. The afflicted husband and father, suddenly bereaved of the beloved objects of his affection, looks forward thro' the merits of his Redeemer to a re-union with them in a better world, and desires at once to learn and enforce upon others this lesson of wisdom' ""Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth"". |
