Detail  At Bath, aged 55, Col. Charles M. Bird, of the Hon. East India Company's Madras service. He had suffered great depression of spirits in consequence of being separated from his wife. Verdict, ""That the deceased came to his death by his own hand, but was of an unsound state of mind at the time he committed the act.""
