Detail  [At his seat, Boultibrook, near Presteign, aged 83. Born 12 Jan 1764 son of Harford Jones, esq. of Presteign by Winifred Hooper. Joined the EIC, excellent at languages, envoy to Persia 1807-11. Made a baronet, 1807. In 1826 assumed the additional name of Brydges. He married 16 Feb 1796 Sarah, eldest dau. of Sir Henry Gott, Kt. of Newland Park, co. Bucks, who was the widow of Robert Whitcomb, esq. 2 sons, 1 dau.]
