He married at St Pancras 22 Oct 1805 Mary Anne, dau. of John Cooksey, esq. by whom he had 6 sons and 1 dau. including Capt. Walter Coningsby Erskine, 73rd Bengal NI, who married in 1834 Eliza, dau. of the late Col. Youngson, 2 sons]
