The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1852: Writer. 1853: Student at the Colllege. 1854: Acting Third Assistant to the Accountant-General, Madras. 1855: Assistant to the Collector and Magistate, North Arcot; Medical leave to Europe for 16 months. 1857: Acting Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Trichinopoly. 1858: Acting Head Assistant at Chingleput. 1859: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Salem; Acting Deputy Secretary to Government in the Revenue and Judicial Departments; Head Assistant at South Arcot; Acting Canarese Translator to Government. 1861: On furlough to Europe for 3 years. 1864: Retired from service, 5th May, in England. (Invalid Annuitant.)
