The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1842: Writer. 1844: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1847: Acting Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1849: Head Assistant to Collector and Magistrate, Salem. 1851: Acting Sub-Judge of the Zillah of Madura. 1852: Acting Sub-Judge of the Zillah of Chittoor; On furlough to Europe. 1857: Acting, afterwards Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Salem. 1858: On Special Duty in Rajahmundry and Masulipatam; Acting Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Cuddapah; afterwards Sub-Collecor and Joint Magistrate, Rajahmundry. 1859: Acting Collector and Magistrate, Guntoor; afterwards at Nellore; then Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate, Godavari. 1860: Collector and Magistrate, Nellore. 1867: On medical leave to Europe for 18 months. Resigned from service, 4th September, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund.)
