The data are transcribed from the book compiled by Charles Prinsep published by Truebner & Co in 1885.

Summary of Service  1822: Writer. 1826: Assistant to the Principal Collector and Magistrate of Coimbatore. 1828: Leave to sea for his health. 1830: Head Assistant to the Collector of Masulipatam. 1831: Head Assistant to the Collector and Magistrate of Bellary. 1832: Acting as Cashier to the Government Bank; Acting Judge and Joint Criminal Judge of Chingleput. 1833: Sub-Collector and Joint Magistrate of Bellary. 1835: Secretary to the Board of Revenue. 1839: Collector and Magistrate of Trichinopoly. 1850: Collector, Magistrate and Agent to the Governor, Ganjam. 1854: Proceeded on furlough. 1855: Resigned the service, 1st January, in India. (Annuitant on the Fund, 1856.)
