Body of text  THOMAS EVANS, born 4th August 1917 at Glasgow, son of Thomas Evans and Marion Campbell; educated at Glasgow Kent Road Public School 1922-8; Woodside Higher Grade School 1929-32, BA (1942); licensed by Presbytery of Belfast May 1945; assistant warden Boys' Residential Club and assistant Belfast College Square 1945-7; admitted by General Assembly 1947 ; ordained for foreign missionary service at Kotah, Rajputana by Presbytery of Glasgow 16th July 1947. Married 27th April 1949, Alice Nora, born 31st October 1918, daughter of Nathaniel Dunlop and Maude Marion Fitzpatrick, and has issue, Sheila Marion, born 4th August 1950; Ellen Jane, born 27th July 1952; Diana Margaret, born 5th May 1954.
