Entry  At Delhi, on the 15th July, 1805, Captain George Carnegie, fourth son of the late George Carnegie, Esq., of Pittarro, in Scotland. After surviving several severe campaigns in India, both in the service of the Mahrattas and that of the Company, in which he uniformly acquitted himself in the noblest manner, and with the fairest prospect of higher preferment, he fell victim, in the prime of life, to the disease of the country, a complaint of the liver; deeply lamented by all who knew him, and were happy in his friendship.
