CommentThe Government of India asked that a certain number of appointments be made each year from 1922, 23, 28 & 1930. Candidates were invited to a personal interview by the Committee and listed In merit order. Should one of the candidates be rejected or fail, then one from the Reserve List would be chosen - again in merit order.
